NADIA SIREGAR, MASTER OF PAPUAN DANCE (INDONESIA)

Nadia can perform various types of dance but one which became his favorite is Dance Tifa (Rii Piiworotu dance). This dance originates from the region, especially villagers Wontuboi Wandama. Dance depicts the story of how the clan Yomaki formed.
One day there was a man nam

ed Mamberaki who was the ancestor of the clan Yomaki arise when there is flood. He brought three heirloom. The objects that are Piiworotu (a type of drum in the eastern part of Indonesia), Revo (book heritage) and Tabura (a type of trumpet made of leather bia).
carrying a heritage item, he came down from Mount Wontuboi to find the people who survived the flood in the village. By blowing Tabura, he could meet the people who survived the flooding.
Then he showed it to three people who survived this and began questioning them, "the third of these objects, which one you like?" They reject the holy books and Tabura and prefer Piiworotu (drums) because it was a beautiful shape. In addition, this drum has a loud voice and beautiful ornaments. So Piiworotu used as a communication tool and as a traditional musical instrument.
